FAQs for Mothers
What classes do you offer?
We offer lots of fun things to do while at Selah Creek. Apart from the ongoing education program you’ll be doing independently, you will take finance and parenting classes, participate in Embrace Grace activities, make dream boards, and more.
Do you offer private medical care?
We do not. We assist all of our residents in applying for any and all government medical services.
Can I work while at Selah Creek?
Yes! We want to help every mom become as successful as she can be. If you are medically cleared to work, we encourage you to do so. We also help with budgeting so that each mother feels more financially secure when she leaves the home.
Who helps me in the delivery room?
That is totally up to you! If you would like to have a stable friend or family member there with you, then awesome! If not, one of our staff members would love to assist you. You choose!
FAQs for Donors
Is Selah Creek a registered non-profit?
Yes! If you would like to give monetarily, we will send you a donation receipt in January of every year for tax purposes. We will provide a tax donation form for all donated items.
When I give monetarily to Selah Creek, where does my money go?
All general donations to Selah Creek go directly towards running the home (e.g. light bill, gas, lawn care, etc.) and towards ensuring that we can serve women in the years to come. To donate to a specific cause or project, simply specify on your donation.
Why do you not show the faces of Selah Creek mothers and babies online?
Great question! We believe very strongly that every woman’s story is her own, so we do not give away or advertise our residents’ identities or personal information. With time and space, we trust they will share their own stories, with the right people, on their own terms.

How do I become a volunteer?
All of our volunteer information is posted under the Get Involved tab. If you see an opportunity that interests you, just fill out the application! Someone on our staff will contact you soon.
How can I get my small group/church more plugged in at Selah Creek?
We encourage any group passionate about our work to prayerfully consider giving monthly or annually. For those who would like to go a step further, check out our Instagram and Facebook pages! One to two times a year, we organize family-friendly projects, and we would love for you to be involved!
